Vibration and Frequency

Resonance
is a sympathetic vibration.

Think of a guitar string
singing
after a different string
has been plucked.
The two different notes
will dance
and merge
and interweave
and amplify each other.
All because
of vibration
and frequency.

Each of us
carries within us
a heart that beats
through every moment
of our lives.
With every beat
an electromagnetic field
is generated.
A field that carries
vibration
and frequency.

So
when my heart beats
and draws near to yours
those two fields
can dance
and merge
and interweave
and amplify each other.

Resonance and harmony,
in sounds
and in our shared
connectedness.
Something we can feel
even if we don’t know it,
if only
we will listen close enough.
