Love Without Hesitation
The plaque at the foot of the tree in the park reads To our little gentleman who taught us to love without hesitation and I pause in my steps for a moment to consider. I have passed by this tree hundreds of times, more, but never have I read these words. I do not know this little gentleman or anything about him beyond this. Yet as I continue on I cannot help but wonder what my life might look like to love with abandon. To accept all the hurts, all the heartbreaks so far, to accept that there will be more yet to come, and to love wildly the same. To love without hesitation. What might that be?
